Turkey Meatballs
These meatballs are juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. This super easy and healthy recipe will not disappoint.
  • Prep Time:
  • Cook Time:
  • Servings: 8 (6 meatballs per serving)

  • (2 lbs) Ground Turkey
  • (1 cup) Italian Style Breadcrumbs
  • (3/4 cup) Onion, minced
  • (1/2 cup) Fresh parsley, minced
  • (2) Chicken Eggs - Dozen
  • (3 cloves) Garlic, minced
  • (2 teaspoons) Worcestershire sauce
  • (1 teaspoon) Sea Salt
  • (1/2 teaspoon) Basil
  • (1/2 teaspoon) Oregano
  • (1/4 teaspoon) Ground pepper

To make the meatballs:

  1. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients
  2. Mix ingredients together well
  3. Shape into 1 inch size balls

To bake the meatballs:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup. Coat a wire rack with nonstick spray and set on prepared baking sheet
  3. Arrange meatballs on rack so they are not touching
  4. Bake until browned with crispy edges, about 15 to 20 minutes (an internal thermometer should read 165 degrees)

To fry the meatballs:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the meatballs in batches until browned on all sides and the meatballs are cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes per batch (an internal thermometer should read 165). Add more oil between batches if the skillet looks dry.

To freeze the meatballs:

  1. Arrange meatballs (cooked then cooled) in a single layer on a baking sheet, not touching. Freeze until solid, about 1 hour, then transfer to a freezer-safe container and store up to 1 month.

To reheat frozen meatballs:

  • Place frozen meatball on a baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake in a 300-degree oven for 15 min, or until heated through.

  • To reheat in your sauce, place the frozen meatball in the sauce and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
