This is the deposit on a whole hog. The price is $4.00/lb hanging weight.
A whole hog will weigh approximately 200 lbs (+/-100lbs) live weight.
We deliver the hog to the butcher, but you are responsible for picking up the finished product and paying all butchering fees.

A typical whole hog will produce the following:
20-24 lbs Bacon.
24-30 lbs Loin. This includes pork loin chops, tenderloin and sirloin.
20-24 lbs Sausage.
36-40 lbs Ham. This may be ground into sausage as well.
30-36 lbs Shoulder Roast or Steaks.
10-12 lbs Spare Ribs.
4-6 lbs Baby Back Ribs.
4-6 lbs Ham Hocks.
Our pigs were born and raised on our farm in Morris, Illinois. They are fed a diet of locally grown non-GMO feed and free-range pasture forage.
