Price

A $25 non-refundable deposit will reserve your FRESH turkey. The final price will be calculated at $6.75/lb. of the package weight, with the $25 deposit subtracted. 

Example: A 16 lb. turkey at $6.75/lb. will have a total cost of $108. Subtract the $25 deposit, equals a balance of $83 that will be charged at pickup.

FROZEN Turkeys are sold at $6.75/lb. due at your scheduled pickup appointment. You'll receive an updated order total prior to scheduling your pickup appointment.

Sizes

Customers will be able to choose their turkey size at pickup, first come, first served.

We cannot guarantee specific sizes will be available. Historically, our turkeys have averaged around 16 lbs. with some as low as 12 lbs. and as high as 28 lbs.

We cannot guarantee the availability of specific sizes for FRESH TURKEYS. If you want to guarantee a specific size pastured turkey, please order a FROZEN turkey. 

Cooking instructions

Pastured turkey will be leaner than their confinement counterparts, therefore the meat will cook faster. Plan on 8-10 minutes per pound at 325°F. The turkey will be ready when a cooking thermometer reads 165°F.

Pickup Dates

FRESH Thanksgiving turkeys MUST be picked up at Honeysuckle Farm. Delivery/shipping is NOT available. 

We are located less than 10 minutes south of Morris, IL.

Fresh turkeys are only available for the week of Thanksgiving. All Thanksgiving turkeys are taken to the processor on the Monday before Thanksgiving Day.

Please pick up your fresh, pre-ordered turkey on Tuesday (Nov 24, 2026) or Wednesday (Nov 25, 2026) before Thanksgiving Day (Nov 26, 2026).

Any turkeys not picked up on those days will be placed in the freezer and may be picked up by appointment only. All turkeys not picked up by December 3, 2026, will be considered abandoned and resold without a refund of deposit.

Feed Ingredients

Pastured turkeys are able to forage much of their diet from the bounty of nature, but they do require a balanced feed ration to supplement where nature may be lacking. 

We provide that feed supplement from Bellflower Feed Mill in the form of a non-GMO corn and soybean meal ration, balanced with added vitamins and minerals to provide the turkeys the nutrients they need to thrive.
